CATHOLIC SCHOOL TURNS TO A TEMPORARY FIELD HOSPITAL

Friday, August 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Inter Technology School, Nakhon Pathom Province Cardinal Francis Xavier Kriengsak Kovitavanij, President of the CBCT gave St. Joseph Inter Technology School to Mr.Surasak Charoensirichot Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province for a temporary use as a field hospital (Community Isolation Complex & One Stop Service) to help the local people with cooperation from both the public and private sectors.

Cardinal Kriengsak Kovitavanij said: “Today is a day of great joy and gratitude to God for another concrete act of love that is taking place in our Catholic Church during the coronavirus crisis. On behalf of the CBCT and the Archdiocese of Bangkok, I would like to encourage all Thai brothers and sisters who are facing Covid-19 crisis, including medical personnel, health workers and volunteers , may you all be protected. Rest assured that we Catholics are concerned and will join as brothers and sisters to overcome this crisis together.”

For the “Nakhon Pathom Aunjai Waiting Center” (Community Isolation Complex & One Stop Service), can accommodate approximately 630 beds of patients in the green-yellow group. People in the high-risk group must register through the thai application. .care to get tested for COVID-19 with Antigen Test Kit at Saint Joseph Inter Technology School, Sampran District If the result is positive, they can stay for treatment without getting another test. Throughout the treatment, medical personnel will be supervised by providing medicine and food to the patient for 3 full meals. The critical cases will be referred to the provincial hospital which is not different from treatment in field hospitals and Hospital covers rights according to the NHSO policy.
