As the Delta variant of Covid-19 fuels a surge in cases across many parts of the globe, Thailand is not exempted from it. At present the increasing number of confirmed cases prompted the government to Implement lockdown, community quarantine and restricted movements of people except for the covid patients who need to be treated in their respective home province. Churches, schools and several public areas are closed until further notice, hospitals are in the brink of collapse as patients overflowed.
This crisis of Covid-19 calls for collaboration to respond to the concrete need of the people especially the poorest of the poor.
From the month of April to the present , the Catholic church in Thailand continues to serve people who are in quarantine as well as those who lost their livelihood by providing them daily ready to eat meal, hygiene products including weekly grocery bag per family.
The collaboration to help the needy, manifest the love of God in a concrete and tangible way to all peoples even those who did not know God. For we are brothers and sisters.
